Works With
Areas of focus
I work primarily with individuals and couples navigating complex trauma and its many aftereffects, including difficulties with emotional regulation, self-worth, attachment, and feeling safe in relationships. Trauma often shows up in subtle and layered ways, and many people lack the language for what they are experiencing. My aim is to provide a grounded, compassionate space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace and begin to restore a sense of safety and agency.
My approach is trauma- and attachment-informed, with a strong emphasis on relational safety and parts-based work. I integrate Internal Family Systems alongside cognitive and emotion-focused strategies to help clients develop greater self-understanding, self-empathy, and internal compassion. I believe that healing from trauma often begins with learning to relate to oneself with curiosity rather than judgment. Therapy with me is collaborative, gentle, and tailored to each client’s needs.
My path to becoming a psychotherapist has been shaped by both professional training and lived experience, including intimate partner trauma and other relational experiences that disrupted my sense of emotional and physical safety, trust, and autonomy. This perspective has informed how I understand trauma, attachment, and the nervous system, and continues to guide how I show up with care and attunement in my work with clients.
Healing is possible, even when it feels unreachable. I am privileged to support clients as they move toward stability, clarity, and self-trust. To schedule a consultation, please contact me via phone or email.
